Suzanne Shaw, who was recently crowned the winner of ITV’s Dancing on Ice, is to be the new face of the Michelle for George lingerie, sold exclusively at Asda, it has been announced.
The former Hear’Say singer and more recently, starlet of the stage, takes over from Ruby Stewart, the daughter of rock star Rod.
The 26-year-old mum of one has reportedly signed a £200,000 deal to front the retail giant’s underwear range.

Gemma Atkinson and Sarah Harding Show Satin Style for Ultimo

With Valentines day just around the corner, it’s time for lingerie brands to bring what they have to the table. This latest collection by Ultimo features Luxury Lingerie regulars, Gemma Atkinson and Sarah Harding, and a selection of gorgeous satin bras and knickers.
The Shoot was held in glamorous Miami, Florida in January, just to ensure the weather was on their side.
Gemma began representing Ultimo’s D-G Range back in November last year, after various reality TV successes, including I’m a Celebrity, Get me out of here, and Soap Star Super Star.
Sarah, One of the members of all-girl super group, Girls Aloud, became one of the Ultimo team in 2006. On her suitability for the role, she said “I am not a supermodel like all the other previous Ultimo models so I worked really hard to look the best I possibly could.”

A Stunner from Hastings has been unveiled as the new face(and body) – of Ann Summers.
Emma Blocksage – known as Emma B – will star alongside former star of Big Brother Kate Lawler and pop star Michelle Heaton.
Together the trio will model the chain’s new Valentine’s range and appear on bill boards and television commercials across the UK.
Emma began her career career when she won the prestigious Elite Look of the Year Model Competition in 1995. This won her a lucrative modelling contract with Elite – one of the world’s best known agencies.
Since then she has gone on to become one of the most successful models of recent years appearing in catwalk shows and ad campaigns for designers such as Chanel, Prada and Jean Paul Gaultier.
A regular in the pages of the tabloids, largely due to her relationship with former boy band singer Brian Harvey, Emma also became a favourite of lads mags such as FHM, Loaded and GQ.
She has also appeared on the covers of Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire and become a reality TV star.
Emma enjoyed a lucrative two-year contract to model lingerie for Debenhams and in 2005 her calendar was in the top five best sellers.
No wonder Ann Summers bosses are so pleased to have the blonde bombshell on board.
Jacqueline Gold, the head of Ann Summers, said: “I am delighted to have Emma as one of our new girls – she looks a million dollars.”

Stella McCartney To launch Intimates Line

Stella McCartney is to unveil her first lingerie line in February, it has been revealed. The collection is in partnership with Bendon, a New Zealand lingerie brand, that also happens to handle Elle Macpherson’s line of underwear.
Miss. McCartney says she was inspired by lingerie from an early age. “I was obsessed with French slips, lace inlays and handwork. When I think about lingerie, I tend to think of really handmade precious pieces. … The intimacy that a woman has with her lingerie is quite inspiring.”
The spring-summer 2008 collection will include bras, bodysuits briefs, and chemises in Stella’s signature colours: soft pinks, creams, blues and pearl grays mixed with bright poppy colours. Some of the names for the delicate pieces are said to include Daisy Dreaming, Eve Giggling, Mia Winking and Coco Blushing. Pieces will range from $45 for briefs to $325 for a sequined chemise.
Dita Von Teese becomes the face of Wonderbra

Dita von Teese is set to become the new face of Wonderbra, it was announced today.
The burlesque star is also rumoured to be designing her own limited edition collection of underwear for Wonderbra. Her designs will be based on 1940s lingerie styles and vintage underwear fashions.
The model will show off her new range in Paris over the next few weeks. Of the news, Von Teese said: “I really hope that with this new range I can share my passion for sensual, wearable lingerie that will add a touch of glamour to people’s everyday lives.”

Her plans for panties, garters and bras will encompass sexy and fun styles is influenced by “things that are really sexy and things that I love to wear and my friends love to wear.” She says.
She also plans to ‘do a show about the process of creating these ideas.’ what this entails is anyone’s guess. Suppose we’ll have to wait and see.

La Senza, the high street lingerie retailer, has appointed former Victoria Secrets model and Ex Girlfriend of British Pop Star James Blunt, Petra Nemcova as the face of its new Autumn/Winter collection.
The 28 year old model has previously been a cover girl for Sports Illustrated. On her new modelling venture, She said “Lingerie modelling makes you feel so sexy and good about yourself. I really enjoyed the shoot, there was a fantastic team – we had tons of fun. Some are sexy, some girly, some comfy and some a bit more risque – but they all make you feel great. My favourite garment was the black push-up bra – it had such great shaping but still has very thin straps.”

Abbey Clancy and Kate Lawler are battling it out to be the new face of Ann Summers.
Big Brother 3 winner Kate, has modelled the firm’s underwear since last November, However Bosses reckon Hell’s Kitchen star Abbey, 21, could increase sales. A source said: “This could send her into the big time. The new range of undies will show off her curves perfectly. “She’s very excited about it and so will most blokes be when they see the photos.”
Abbey, girlfriend of England football ace Peter Crouch, 26, wants £75,000 per year. That’s TEN TIMES more than what Kate is thought to have been paid for five photo shoots. The source said: “Abbey may be blonde but she has a very smart business brain.” Ann Summers said: “Kate is still working with us. Abbey is a gorgeous girl too.”
