Valentines Day Lingerie Buying Guide for Guys
January 30, 2008 by admin
With Valentines Day approaching fast (we’ll be running a number of articles on choosing the right gifts over the coming days), it’s time to start thinking about getting something special for the special girl in your life.
Lingerie and nightwear make great gifts for your wife or girlfriend but choosing something she will love takes a little more background information.
This is your cue as her devoted guy, to go undercover …It’s time to explore her lingerie drawer and wardrobe to find three vital clues – size, style and colour.
Don’t get caught and do not leave any evidence!Leave her drawers neat!
You will need access to her underwear drawer, a notebook and a pen. Pick out something you have seen her wearing recently and check the size on the labels!
Bra Size
Always a number and letter combination eg. 34B. The number is her chest size and the letter is her cup size and yes, you do need both! It’s no use going into a shop and using random hand gestures to indicate size.
Dress Size
You will find this in her knickers or anything like a dress or jumper. This size is only needed when buying anything other than a bra like knickers, babydolls, chemises and pyjamas. e.g. 10, 12, 14 etc.
Now think about what she usually wears & combine this with your knowledge of her personality, to choose the right style for her.
Top Tip: Don’t just go for thongs. Less isn’t always more! Briefs, shorts and french knickers can be sexy too.

Just one thing matters, getting the correct size! If the size is bigger, she’ll think you are mocking her…if the size is smaller, she’ll think how on earth could you have missed the “well endowed” form! All the best there…
Before giving lingerie’s as a gift, make sure to know what type of lingerie your girlfriend or fiance wants. It is important to know if the person is comfortable wearing those… and yeah size really does matter…the correct one of course!
